Billie grew up in Los Angeles in a small house with her family. Her entire family was really musical so she grew up being around music all the time. Her mom, Maggie Baird, is an actress and muscian. Her dad, Patrick O' Connell is a muscian also. Her brother was and actor and muscian just like his mother. Finneas was in a band growing up and Billie had always looked up to her brother. Finneas stared in the show "Glee" too. The first song Billie ever sang "Ocean Eyes" was writen by finneas and was originally for his band but he realized Billie would sound amazing singing the song and that her voice would really put it together. Billie's familiy is really proud of all her accomplishments and her brother constantly sings and plays giutar with her at her shows.
